Our annual project conference with our Associated Partners was planned for September 2020 in the Polish spa town of Sopot. Among other things, we wanted to discuss theoretical approaches to the health resort as a public space and how this is implemented in the work of the spas on site. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we had to cancel the conference and will instead hold a virtual meeting via zoom. Among other things, the meeting will focus on how to meet the challenges of the pandemic in the health resorts. How will spa life change in the face of contact restrictions? Will the epidemic result in greater health awareness? And how do public health policy and private prevention interplay here?
