Wiebke Kolbe is visiting the University of Amsterdam as a guest researcher from September to December 2019. She is hosted by Project Leader Christian Noack and the Amsterdam School for Regional, Transnational and European Studies (ARTES). This stay enables a close co-operation between the two Principal Investigators of the European Spa team who use the time to work collaboratively on conceptual questions as well as to discuss their findings. Wiebke Kolbe collaborates also with the interdisciplinary European travel cultures and mobilities research group hosted at ARTES and discusses her work with them. During her stay at the University of Amsterdam, she investigates mainly the history of European seaside resorts.
